If auto filling is disabled the warning will be orange. Red warning will be displayed for a booklet imposition if the number of positions is unsuitable for auto positions filling. You can read more about these imposition types in the chapter Imposition Types. It is recommended to use Auto positions filling enabled for booklet imposition. Note: Visually, nothing has to change while switching to booklet imposition (if the Auto positions filling is not active), but the option Page order from beginning/end in the Info Palette becomes available, which is necessary to define the scheme of assignment for this imposition type. The Cut & Stack option can be activated for all of these impositions. The following options let you choose imposition type – N-UP, Booklet and Calendar. If you choose to work with a two-sided sheet, two mirrored sides of the sheet will be made. You can also select One-sided or Two-sided sheet. If there are many positions on the sheet the automatic calculation can be time-consuming. This option cannot be used when working with a booklet imposition and also if the sheet size is calculated automatically (Activating 'Calculate automatically' activates manual sheet size input). ![]() ![]() ![]() Auto positions filling is also activated when activating the automatic number calculation. The Calculate automatically option chooses optimal values to fill the sheet maximally. The first two control features Rows and Columns determine the overall imposition layout by setting the number of rows and columns.
